Easier desktop sign-in

The controller connects automatically to the predefined production workspace. Advanced server settings are optional. The workspace heading stays light on its dark panel. The secure sign-in window has a native close button and Escape cancels sign-in; the operator can reopen it. Windows, macOS and Linux controllers are updated; endpoint agents and credentials are unchanged.

Linux, attended Android and controller access management

CyberCursor Remote 0.4.0 for Windows, macOS and Linux adds a sign-in screen, a computer list limited to assigned devices, a file manager, session history, a profile page, a session toolbar and attended Android sessions. Endpoint 0.3.2 adds Linux packages for X11 desktops and an Android evaluation app for attended sessions, and fixes the 0.3.1 Mac and Windows endpoint app crash at launch. Linux was verified on an Ubuntu 24.04 arm64 virtual machine and Android on the Android 16 emulator.

Portal and installed controller boundary

Interactive terminal, file changes and screen control run only in the installed controller over a signed session channel; the portal keeps administration and read-only file listings. Browser remote routes refuse with desktop-required. Verified by 145 production readback checks and 70 package checks.

Release gate

Signing and notarization

Only the Mac controller carries a Developer ID signature and it is not yet notarized; the other desktop installers are unsigned and the Android APK uses the debug certificate. Publisher signing and notarization are continuing gates.

Release gate

Physical endpoint acceptance

Production screen pixels and input on physical Windows, macOS and Linux endpoints, Linux on x86_64 hardware, attended sessions on physical Android phones and the Windows native Files and Terminal UI are separate acceptance steps.

Preview

Automation, patching and security

Bounded job foundations are in preview; security monitoring depends on the planned provider rollout.

Platform coverageBuilds as published

CyberCursor Remote 0.4.1 for Windows, macOS and Linux; CyberCursor Endpoint 0.3.2 for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Windows and macOS builds cover two processor architectures, Linux packages cover amd64 and arm64, and Android has one APK. Controllers older than 0.3.3 cannot present the signed session proof and must upgrade before interactive testing; attended Android sessions need controller 0.4.0.

Every published installer is listed with its size and SHA-256 checksum on the downloads page. Endpoint identity and credentials are preserved across controller upgrades.
